Carriers are retiring analog lines and old PBX parts are drying up. We move Dallas Fort Worth businesses to a modern 3CX phone system, keep every number, and schedule the cutover so nobody misses a call.
Analog phone service (POTS) is being phased out. The FCC no longer requires carriers to keep offering it, so AT&T, Frontier, and others are raising prices sharply or sending non-renewal notices. The same is happening to the hardware: Avaya, Mitel, NEC, and Toshiba systems installed ten or fifteen years ago are out of support, and replacement cards and handsets are getting expensive or impossible to find.
The good news is that a modern phone system costs less to run and does more. The move just has to be planned properly.
Avaya IP Office and Partner ACS, Mitel and ShoreTel, NEC SL/SV series, Toshiba Strata, Panasonic KX, Nortel/Norstar, Samsung OfficeServ, and hosted services that have gotten expensive. If it has a dial tone, we can move it.
Will we be without phones during the switch? No. The new system runs in parallel and calls forward during the port window.
How long does a port take? Typically two to four weeks from signed authorization, set by the losing carrier. We handle the paperwork and follow-ups.
What about our internet? Voice needs a stable connection, not a fast one. We check bandwidth and router QoS during the assessment and tell you if anything needs to change.
Do we have to buy new phones? Often not. Many existing SIP phones can be re-provisioned. We'll tell you which ones.
